In December of 1994 Tim Riley and Brain Terry started an unnamed project. Brain & Tim on guitars, John on bass and The Machine on percussion and keyboards. The project became known as “Seraphin Twin” in April of 1995. Gordon Young joined on guitar but the band still was without a vocalist. In August of 1995 after several auditions to found vocalist, Tim is forced to grow a voice and the line up completed. In October of 1995 the band released “Maleficence” 2 track cassette single in conjuction with Naked Truth zine. Maleficence received enthusiastically reviews international and deleted immediately.In February of 1996 the Brain left and the band continued as a 3 pieces embarked in an extensive British tour as special guest to the Dream Disciples. Mark Elder joined on bass in June of 1996 and the August of the same year the band played in Sacrosanct festival at London’s Astoria alongside The Garden Of Delight & Rosetta Stone. Seraphin Twin described as “…powerful and atmospheric…” and perhaps the best band of the festival. Seraphin Twin started an extensive European tour in October of 1996 as duo Tim & Gordon. Unfortunately the band broke up after this tour.
