GETHSEMANE

Gethsemane were formed in 1992.The first line up was Katie on vocals, Ian on guitar and Simon on bass.Simon left the band a couple of months later, Katie moved onto the bass and Porl was recruited as vocalist.
A few months later they had written "Between The Line", "Ophelia", "Heaven To Dust", "Sacrifice" and "Vision".
After an encouraging response and press coverage, they began playing more live gigs, supporting bands such as "Sins Of The Flesh", "Rosetta Stone", "Every New Dead Ghost". By this time they had released their first demo tape "Dark Hour", which sold beyond their expectations, received good reviews and was distributed over the Europe by Nightbreed Records. This led to more gigs including headline ones with bands like "Restoration II", "Redemption" and "Die Laughing".
Interest in the band became so great that they introduced an information servive named "The Crimpformation Service" to publicise their events and releases. This coincided with the release of their second demo "Watch And Pray".
In November '93, they embarked on their first UK tour with Restoration II, covering major cities such as Glasgow, Sheffield and Birmingham.
